Privacy Policy

ListingRecap (“we”, “us”) helps real estate listing agents send weekly updates to their sellers. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

The short version

We only read emails from showing and listing platforms. Nothing else. We don't sell personal information and we don't use your data to train AI models.

Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email, brokerage, phone, license number and settings you enter.
• Connected mailbox data: when you connect Gmail or Outlook, we request read-only access and fetch only messages from showing and listing platforms (showingtime.com, brokerbay.com, alignedshowings.com, zillow.com, realtor.com, move.com, homes.com) plus any sender you add. We store the parts needed to build recaps (showing times, feedback, view counts, listing address). If you enable sending from your mailbox, we send recaps you approve or schedule and nothing else.
• Listing and seller information: listing addresses, seller names and seller email addresses you provide or confirm.
• Billing: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
• Usage data: basic logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) used for security and reliability.

How we use it

• To build and deliver recaps, PDFs and private seller pages.
• To operate your account, provide support, and send service emails (for example, sign-in or billing notices).
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

Google and Microsoft data

Mailbox access is brokered by Pipedream Connect; we never receive your Google or Microsoft password. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We don't use mailbox data for advertising, don't transfer it except as needed to provide the service, and don't allow humans to read it except with your permission, for security, or as required by law. You can disconnect at any time from the app; we then stop fetching mail.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help us run ListingRecap (hosting and database: Netlify; mailbox connection: Pipedream; payments: Stripe; market data providers when enabled), under contracts that limit their use of it, or when required by law.

Sellers

Sellers receive recaps because their listing agent added them. Every recap includes an unsubscribe link. Sellers can also contact their agent or us to stop emails or request deletion.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time by writing to hello@listingrecap.com; we delete it within 30 days, except where we must keep records (for example, billing) by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your information and to opt out of certain processing. Contact us to exercise them; we won't discriminate against you for doing so.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and stored with our infrastructure providers. Access is limited to what's needed to run the service.

Children

ListingRecap is for real estate professionals and isn't directed to children under 16.
